Luxury British brand Victoria + Albert is delighted to announce its expansion of its Washstand Collection, with the introduction of the Metallo 61 Quartz and Metallo 113 Quartz Washstands. The Quartz Washstands, designed by Italian design duo, Meneghello Paolelli Associati are made in a brass construction with a polished chrome finish, topped with a choice of three durable Quartz finishes with undermounted basins.
The Metallo Quartz Washstands are characterized by the shape of the legs, which feature right angle “tee joints” that reference traditional bathroom pipework. The Metallo 61 Quartz is the most compact washstand in the collection at 24” wide, making it the perfect choice for smaller bathrooms and powder rooms. The washstand is topped with a durable Quartz surface and features a curved ‘ogee’ edge, with an optional quartz upstand. The Metallo 61 Quartz includes an undermounted Kaali 46 basin with a built-in overflow; a new deep, compact basin from Victoria + Albert. The Metallo 113 Quartz washstand, measuring 44-1/4”, also features the curved ‘ogee’ edge, with an optional Quartz upstand and comes with an undermounted Rossendale 91 basin with an internal overflow.
Both the Metallo 61 Quartz and Metallo 113 Quartz offer a practical towel bar and tubular brass shelf for storage beneath. They are available in the three Quartz colors including Black, White and Biscuit and feature adjustable screws on the feet for perfect levelling. As with all products from Victoria + Albert, the Kaali 46 and Rossendale 91 basins are made using the brand’s exclusive material, ENGLISHCAST™; a unique blend of Volcanic Limestone™ and high-performance resins with a number of beneficial properties. Warm to the touch ensuring the water retains heat for longer – it is luxuriously smooth, wipes clean, scratch-resistant, super-strong and lightweight. So confident is Victoria + Albert with its material, the washstands come with a 25-year consumer guarantee.

The company, headquartered in the UK, has offices in the USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
Victoria + Albert Baths is renowned for its unique ENGLISHCAST™ material, made from a unique blend of Volcanic Limestone™ and high-performance resins in its wholly owned factories in South Africa.
Volcanic Limestone™ is Victoria + Albert’s name for the very special white rock that is perfect for making baths and basins. It is formed when the elemental forces associated with liquid magma act upon surrounding soft, chalky limestone. The immense heat and pressure from the magma transforms the neighbouring rock into a new material made up of incredibly hard strands. Finely milled Volcanic Limestone™ is blended with high quality resins to bind these strands into a complex 3D matrix. The finished result is ENGLISHCAST™ - a world-class stone composite that delivers unrivalled strength, durability and beauty:
Easy to clean. The naturally glossy white surface is easy to wipe clean.
Warm to the touch with high insulating properties, keeping your bath water warmer for longer.
Scratch and stain resistant. The naturally white, glossy surface is incredibly durable, and resistant to hair dyes and bath oils.
Strong. ENGLISHCAST™ is solid all the way through – more than twice as hard as acrylic with no creaking or flexing.
Lightweight. Surprisingly lightweight, the average weight of our baths is just 72kg.
Guaranteed. 25-year consumer guarantee, 8 year commercial guarantee.
