What is the biggest misconception about you?
People thing I’m shy at first glance, I may come across as reserved but that’s just my professionalism that comes through, I’m actually very vivacious and outgoing.
What is the biggest mistake people make when they start decorating their homes?
They buy key pieces of furniture on impulse and then get stuck with bulky pieces that don’t fit or don’t work with their overall look or color scheme.
If you could shadow any designer for a day, who would it be?
Kelly Wearstler and Philippe Starck
What is your own personal design style?
I love modern contemporary but enjoy mixing that with classic and Mediterranean flavors
What advice would you say to your 20 year old self now?
Be bold, be aggressive, don’t shy away from anything or stop yourself from going for it!

Inspiration comes from many places where, what or who is yours?
My inspiration comes from travels at a young age, living in Europe, New York and being immersed into many cultures from European, Middle Eastern to North American, I feel that these experiences helped shaped my perception of design and aesthetics.

A talented designer that can distract me from the fear of the broken elevator
What do you love most about Toronto?
How much people are starting to appreciate modern art, design and culture and fashionable spaces.
If you could choose another career what would it be?
Fashion, so close to design yet another creative beast that I would love to crack.
What is your next project?
A sunning cottage, a few homes with top to bottom renos and several kitchen remodeling projects in the works
